I feel like I say this all the time, but I really do feel that I have been so blessed with such amazing clients.  I really cannot say enough about this next wedding.  There was so much thought, love, sweat, and hard work that was put into this gorgeous event.  The wedding took place tucked in the Smoky Mountains at the Lily Barn in Townsend.  The entire wedding was designed by Hadley's mom.  She took so much joy planning a wedding for her daughter.  It really was a labor of love.  

Emily and Ben got married a few weeks ago and it was a day that to many, was a long time coming.  Emily and Ben had been are high school sweethearts who were meant to be.  I have had such a great time getting to know they over the last several months and hearing their love story.  Their wedding day was beautiful and I wish them both the best in all the years to come!

This has been such a fun wedding season!  Each wedding is so unique in it's own way and that really is what makes them so special.  This wedding so so fun for my sister and I because Meredith has been a friend of my sister's for many years.  It is always such a privilege to photograph the wedding of a friend.  To be able to experience a wedding on this side is something that I will always love.  It is the reason that I got into this business in the first place.  I never forget that when I am able to be there for all these special and intimate moments that happen between friends, family members, and of course the bride and groom.  Meredith was such a beautiful bride.  She is a natural beauty and I knew that she would shine on her wedding day.  Her and Ben make such a great match.  They just seem like two peas in a pod.  I wish you guys the best of luck throughout your marriage and life together!!

This has already been one of my favorite wedding seasons ever!  Like always, I have the best clients and shooting their weddings never feels like work.  Just getting to hang out with them on the most special day of their lives is such a privilege.  It is truely, my favorite part of the job.  Rachel and Dave were married a few weeks ago on a hot spring day.  We have been so lucky this year with all the outdoor weddings that we have had, to have had really great weather.  Getting to know Rachel and Dave over the last year or so has been so fun.  They are such a sweet couple who were so excited to tie the knot!  I wish you all the very best in all the years to come!

there are few things in this life that i love more than an amazing outdoor wedding.  katharine and russ's wedding was just that.  what was even better, it was a "backyard" wedding.  although, it sure doesn't look like it is in someone's backyard.  not only does it have an amazing rose arbor, but the most beautiful view in all of knoxville.  their home really captures the beauty of this amazing part of the country that we live in.  the crazy thing about this wedding, is that just 3 days before, we had the worst hail storm i'm pretty sure our city has ever seen.  i have to admit, i was nervous.  i just thought for sure that their amazing landscaping would be torn to shreds.  when i arrived, i couldn't help but have a smile on my face.  everything looked beyond perfect.  it was the perfect day for an outdoor wedding for a couple that i just love.  i have loved getting to know katharine and russ and couldn't be happier for them!
