so, justin and i took a nice vacation last week to be able to spend some time together before our busy seasons get here and then came home and shot a wedding and an engagement session this weekend. while going through the engagement session, i just had to post a couple because i got really excited! here is just a little tease, but don't worry, i will be back with more!!

yay for sunshine!!!! FINALLY last weekend we had moment of this shiny yellow thing in the sky and i was so excited to take advantage of it! we had our session originally planned for sunday, but saw that, surprise surprise, it was supposed to rain, so we bumped it up to friday, and i am so glad that we did!!! i had so much fun hanging out with mollie and joe! they are just such a fun, energetic, and hilarious couple. their wedding in october is going to amazing and i just cannot wait! here are some of their happy and sunny photos!

teddy and liz

i love teddy and liz. teddy is my husband's best friend from well, his whole life. justin love's teddy. so i love teddy. and teddy loves liz. and well, i love liz! they are such a fabulous couple who just compliment each other so well. they are like these two puzzle pieces that just fit together perfectly. teddy and liz have actually been married for almost four years now but never had an engagement session and wanted to have one, so we did! i loved doing this session with them. after being married for such an amount of time they just had this comfort level with each other that was just so sweet. i love the way they look at each other. i love how much fun they have together. ok, i think i've said it enough, i just love them!!

here are some of my favorites from their "love" session :)

i mean, how cute is she!? the colors were pretty fabulous too....

and can i just go ahead and say that i LOVE the fact that liz wore a white v-neck for our session. it just really fit the mood of the session. fun, laid back, comfortable, real love.

and then my best favorite thing happened. the sun came out.

caroline and lawrence. engagement session

i have been trying my best to get caught up on all of my blogging before the crazy holidays arrive and apologize about the delay between sessions and posts. all that to say, i finally am getting caught up and do think that i will maybe (don't hold me to it...) reach my goal!

caroline and lawrence are getting married next april and i was really excited to shoot their engagement session. we got really lucky again and had a beautiful day for our session. we started out on cherokee boulevard and then headed downtown. i had such a great time hanging out with caroline and lawrence and can't wait til their wedding next spring!
